Specialized Polymers.
Specialized Polymers are produced by chemical grafting of reactive monomers like maleic anhydride, glycidyl methacrylate and other similar materials on the base polyolefin. They possess superior properties than the simple polyolefin in terms of polarity, adhesion to different substrates, compatibility with reinforcements and fillers and so on.
Specialized polymers are chemically modified polymers used as coupling agents, compatibilizers, wetting/dispersing agents, impact modifiers, tie layer adhesive resins, metal adhesion promoters, flow modifiers, scrap upgraders and chain extenders for polymer compounds, blends and alloys.
These products enhance properties of polymer compounds thus enabling their increased adoption in White goods, Automotive, Wire & Cables, Wood Plastics Composites and Plastics film industries besides several others.
These functionalized polymers serve as compatibilizers to enhance and facilitate the properties and processing conditions of polymer composites.
